Botox is a purified protein that, when injected in small controlled amounts, temporarily relaxes specific muscles. At DIVA Skin Clinic Poipet, Botox is used to soften wrinkles caused by muscle movement and to relax overactive muscles for a slimmer or more balanced facial appearance.

Before recommending Botox, DIVA reviews your facial structure, the muscle or line pattern involved, your goal, medical history and allergy history. Botox and filler are not interchangeable — treating the wrong concern with the wrong injectable will not give the result you want, so the area and technique are only decided after this assessment.

Botox is not sold as a fixed package at DIVA. The area treated, the number of injection points and the amount used depend on your individual muscle strength, the concern being addressed and your goal. Some clients need one area; others combine several areas or combine Botox with filler for overall facial balance across separate visits.

Visible improvement typically appears within about 3–7 days and continues to settle over roughly two weeks. Results commonly last around 3–6 months depending on the area and individual muscle response, after which a repeat session is usually needed to maintain the effect — the exact interval varies by person.
There is generally no significant downtime. Clients are usually advised to avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area for about 4–6 hours, avoid lying flat for around 4 hours after injection, and avoid intense exercise, heat or alcohol for 24 hours.
