Rejuran uses polynucleotide (PN) derived from salmon DNA to support skin regeneration and repair. Profhilo is a bio-remodelling treatment (not a traditional filler or skinbooster) that spreads through the tissue to support collagen and elastin production while deeply hydrating. Skinboosters like Restylane, Ejal40 and Belotero Revive are HA-based and mainly deliver hydration and smoothness across a broader area, injected more superficially than filler.

How Many Sessions Are Usually Needed?

Rejuran is usually recommended as a course of around 2–3 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart, with the exact number depending on skin condition and response. Profhilo is usually done as a starting course of around 2 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart, with maintenance sessions roughly every 6–12 months for some clients. What to Expect Afterward

Skinbooster and regenerative injectable treatments are generally lower-downtime compared with resurfacing lasers. Mild redness, small bumps at injection points, or minor bruising/tenderness in the treated area are common and usually settle within a short period. Individual response varies by product used, treatment area and skin sensitivity.

Caring for Your Skin Afterward

General aftercare includes gentle cleansing, avoiding heavy makeup on injection points for the rest of the day if possible, avoiding excessive sun exposure and following any specific instructions given by the clinic for the product used. Consistency — completing the recommended course rather than a single session — matters for how noticeable the improvement in hydration, firmness or texture will be.

Who Should Be Cautious or Consult First

Skinbooster is not the same as filler — skinboosters are injected superficially to hydrate and improve overall skin quality across a large area, while fillers are injected more deeply to add volume or shape. Clients with active skin infection at the injection site, known allergy to the product ingredients, or certain medical conditions should discuss this with DIVA before treatment. Neither Rejuran nor Profhilo is universally "better" — they target different concerns, and choosing the wrong direction for your skin may give a less noticeable result.
