The DIVA story
DIVA Skin Clinic Poipet is an appointment-based skin and aesthetic clinic in Poipet, Cambodia. It was established in April 2023 by Nguyen Hai Dang, who had by then been working in the beauty and aesthetics industry since 2018. The clinic was not built around a single machine or a single trend. It was built around a way of working: look at the real skin first, choose a suitable direction, and stay responsible for what happens afterward.
Poipet shaped the clinic as much as any philosophy did. It is a border town with a warm, humid climate, a great deal of night-shift work, and a population that includes long-term Cambodian residents alongside Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malaysian and Chinese-speaking visitors. That mix creates real, practical needs: treatment that can work within a short visit window, guidance a client can understand in their own language, and honesty about what is realistic when someone may not be in town for every follow-up. DIVA's late operating hours — open from 12:00 PM to 3:00 AM — reflect a town where a lot of life, and a lot of work, happens at night.
The clinic runs by appointment only. That is a deliberate choice rather than a limitation. An appointment model keeps the treatment flow controlled and unhurried, allows time for a proper assessment before anything is done, and means each client is seen with direct attention rather than processed in a queue. It also fits the reality of a border town, where clients often coordinate a visit around a work shift or a border crossing and need a confirmed time rather than a wait.
The short version of what DIVA is trying to be: a place where technology is treated as a tool rather than a headline, where the assessment matters more than the machine, and where the relationship does not end when the client leaves the treatment room. The rest of this page explains who is behind that, how it works in practice, and what it means for you. For the founding approach in more detail, see About DIVA Skin Clinic Poipet.
